The Shoreline School of Art & Music Inc has been approved by the Connecticut Commissioner of Education-Hartford, the Connecticut Commissioner of Higher Education-Hartford, Arts Council of Greater New Haven, Branford Chamber of Commerce and Guilford Chamber of Commerce.

Members of Congress of the United States present awards to Shoreline School of Art & Music Inc students and  deliver the commencement address at graduation and award ceremonies.

The Shoreline School of Art & Music Inc is featured frequently in the New Haven Register, Sound, Shore Line Times and Branford Review newspapers.

Shoreline School of Art & Music Inc students win national, state and local competitions, art show prizes and performance awards. Graduates are employed as illustrators, graphic designers, art directors and performers.

Non-credit courses are open to interested people of all ages for personal enrichment and continuing education.

Full and part-time enrollment for adults in day or evening classes is available for diploma credit.

BIOGRAPHIES

[Richard Milgram]RICHARD MILGRAM, President, School of Music, is a state-certified music educator, Kindergarten-Grade 12, of all instruments and singing. He holds the Master of Music degree from Boston University, the Bachelor of Music degree from Berklee College of Music and  studied at Boston Conservatory of Music and East Carolina University. He is co-founder of the Shoreline School of Art & Music Inc and taught all areas of music at the public school, private school and college level. Mr. Milgram performed at world-famous Carnegie Hall in New York City and for sixteen years was a member of the Musician`s Union performing professionally with members of the Boston Symphony and Boston Pops orchestras. Richard Milgram`s accomplishments are featured in Who`s Who in American Education and Who`s Who in the World.

[Judith Milgram]
JUDITH MILGRAM, Director, School of Art, is a graduate of and a former instructor at The Art Institute of Boston-Lesley College. She was employed in Boston as an illustrator for a major advertising agency, a  fashion illustrator,  advertising manager for a nationally known department store chain and a graphic designer. As cofounder and art director of the Shoreline School of Art & Music Inc, Judith Milgram developed the unique programs approved by the Connecticut Commissioner of Education, Hartford and the Connecticut Commissioner of Higher Education, Hartford. She is frequently invited to be a  guest art demonstrator and art competition judge. Judith Milgram is a professional artist with paintings in many private collections and as evidence of the quality training her students receive, she is featured in Who`s Who in the East and Who`s Who in America.
